Patriots Day Memorial Gresham Oregon Healing Field 2003:
Commemoration of the second anniversary of 9/11/01.
There was a full day of activities on 9/11/2003. The memorial was very popular and was always full of spectators driving through, walking amongst and taking photos of all the flags. There were a lot of emotions in the crowds.

One of the main sponsors General Manager of Boeing Portland Dave Moe (left) and co worker Kelly Broomall (right) discuss the unbelievable efforts he went thru to make the Gresham 2nd anniversary memorial a reality. The Memorial drew a crowd of 75,000+ over the course of 5 days.
It took two trailers and a lot of volunteer efforts to bring the Flags to the Microchip campus, site of the Healing Field in Gresham Oregon.
A portion of the healing fields was dedicated to the men and women who have given their lives on the battlefield of Afghanistan and Iraq in the war against terror. Each soldier is represented by an American flag.
