Flag of Honor – Lancaster, CA

I donated this flag to the Los Angeles County courthouse, in Lancaster, California after seeing one displayed at the security checkpoint at JFK Airport. I had it framed. With the assistance of Howard Millings, the courthouse administrator, permission was granted to display it. As a local attorney, I thought it would be fitting to display the flag at that location.
When people come to our courts, they are there to enforce and protect their rights. Although those rights are “endowed by our Creator”, they are not free. As Americans, we need to always be vigilant against those who would deprive our Nation of its principals of Liberty and Justice. Hopefully, the “Flag of Honor” will be a reminder of that.
One of the attached pictures are of the foyer/rotunda where the flag is displayed. The other is of me, standing in front of the flag.
