Flag of Heroes – New York State Chili Cookoff

Dear John,

We had to send you this pic from the New York State chili cookoff…….wherever we go we bring the flag and so many people stop to talk to us….for that we have to thank you….
Today we bring our son (my step son) Carmine…aka Noochy to the hospital as tomorrow he has open heart surgery….tough thing for an 18 year old kid….but we’ll get thru it…I promise!
Thank you so much for sending the flag to our friend Shawn Glidden…..it has become the focal point for his entire camp in OK…..he leaves for Iraq in a week….thats a tough thing for an 18 year old kid also huh????
