One of Kevin’s soldiers reenlisted and wanted his oath administered on top of the mountain by their colonel. LTC Jackson, who commands the 3-66, is pictured to Kevin’s left. Kevin and his soldiers were proud and honored to have this picture taken with the Flag of Heroes. God Bless America.”

Half the men in this picture are Kevin’s scouts and the other half are from an intelligence unit from North Carolina that Kevin’s unit had worked with since arriving in Iraq in early April 2003. This MI unit had been deployed for over 500 days during the past two years and was being sent home in time to reunite with their families on Christmas Eve. Kevin said they were great Americans and it was an honor to have this picture taken with them and the Flag of Heroes. God Bless the USA.”
