Flag of Honor – Villanova University, PA
M. Michelotti,
I am attaching a photo of myself next to the Flag for your website. I wasn’t sure if this was okay since the entire Flag is not in the picture. If you would rather me take another, I would be more than happy to.
Sincerely,
Ariel Prato

Dear Mr. Michelotti,
I wanted to sincerely thank you for creating the Flag of Honor. It truly is a remarkable and beautiful tribute to those who were lost on September 11, 2001. I am a junior Accounting major at Villanova University and I was recently awarded the Jennifer Lynn Kane endowed scholarship. I met with George and Faye Kane for breakfast today and they were kind enough to give me one of your flags. It is truly amazing that you were able to have each and every victim printed onto the flag. As I glanced over the names I saw not only Jennifer’s but various other names of people I knew that were lost on 9/11. The flag not only allows these people’s memories to live on forever but it also illustrates the strong patriotism and the love we hold for our fellow Americans. I am truly honored to call one of these flags my own. You have given a beautiful gift to not only the people whose lives were lost on that tragic day, but also to all of America. With all my heart, I sincerely thank you.

Dear Ariel,
Thank you so much for your kind note and congratulations on your Jennifer Lynn Kane scholarship. You must be a very special person to have achieved that.
The Kane’s are one of the most wonderful families I have ever met. George and Faye certainly did an outstanding job of creating such a close knit family. They are truly inspirational. Although I never met Jennifer I have no doubt that she was an incredible person just by the way that the Kane’s reflect upon her life. Her photo on the wall above my desk keeps me inspired and dedicated to our goal of remembering by name those who perished on 9/11.
If you have an opportunity we would love to have a photo of you with the Flag for our Photo Gallery.
Good luck to you in your studies and with everything you do. We all wish you the best.
