Flag of Honor Flown in Fighter Wing F-15 over Pacific Northwest
On this day, August 23rd, 2004, this flag was proudly flown over the Pacific Northwest as a lasting tribute to honor and remember those who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001.
It was flown in a 142nd Fighter Wing F-15 on an Operation Enduring Freedom Combat Air Patrol mission. These missions were established following the events of September 11th, to defend the lives of Americans, the spirit of freedom, and all that is good and just in our world.
