Syracuse, NY — The public is invited to attend 17 minutes of silence this morning to remember the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Two flags will be displayed — the Flag of Heroes, with names of emergency personnel who lost their lives — and the Flag of Honor, with names of civilians who died.
