I work for a commercial construction company on the individual project sites. I ordered one of your flags to put up at work where everyone who comes in can see. People are touched by it and often comment how nice it is and how good it makes them feel to know all the victims are honored in this way.

I have the flag of honor and I am organizing an event that benefits wounded soldiers who served since 911. I think it is important to remember them as well and the flags help us remember why our soldiers are at war still and how important it is to remember all who were lost in 911 as well. I think the flags are a wonderful thing to have. I am originally from NY and moved to TX, I have not forgotten!!

I saw a this flag in a church today & I HAD to have one!!! (2). It gave me chills all over! I think it is absolutely beautiful (& sad), but I am so glad this was done in this way. Now a proud Texan can show her love & respect for all the victims of 9/11.

I saw the flag on display on I-90 in Mass, on the southbound rest area in Charlton. When I saw it, I knew immediately that I needed to have that flag.

Have been looking to replace our "original" heroes flag for some time. My husband Lt Schulz was one of the many first responders and is still active FDNY - EMS. The one we have been flying is fading, so thanks.

This is my third order for myself- the first two for the flag of honor. These flags fly 24/7 at our home. A constant reminder of the value of our homeland.

My husband is the chaplain of American Legion Post 185 in Slidell, LA and I am part of the Ladies Auxiliary, he is also chaplain of the North Shore Honor Guard and I blow Taps. Our son is currently more than midway through his captain's career course in the Army National Guard and has already served in Afghanistan and will soon be shipping out to Kuwait. We spent 9/11 at Camp Villere, LA as we were heading the family readiness and support at that time. God bless our military and first responders. *

We are New Yorkers, and was there on 9/11 and witnessed this tragedy. Our prayers are always with those that perished and those that helped. I am a Navy veteran and my son was a NYC policeman assigned to the Towers search & rescue. When we saw this Flag we had to have it to Honor those heros. **

My Husband is a Hungarian National, who is now an American Citizen. He entered his country on June 7, 2001 to make a better life for himself. The road has been difficult to get to the US Citizenship, as of Oct 12, 2011 we made it. To call ourselves Americans is very precious and special to us. I can not think of a better way to honor what he has done by what was done by true American heros. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this.

We value comments made by contributors to the Flag of Honor/Flag of Heroes Project tribute.
Each person who has purchased Flag of Honor & Flag of Heroes has done so for their own reasons.
Because we are interested in learning these reasons (as well as any thoughts and feelings inspired by the flag), we have included a comments section on our order form. Each comment has moved us and has been a source of inspiration.
We have created this page to serve as a platform in which these expressions can be shared with everyone.
Our hope is that this will not only serve as another way to honor those who died on September 11, 2001, and further keep their memories alive, but to also be an aid in the grieving process for those of us left behind.
