What represents the September 11th event for you?

I watched as my Mom, grandma and uncle prayed that my Uncle was okay. He was a firefighter in NY. He was okay but my grandma lost 13 friends. She cried when we saw her friends name on the list as we looked at the hole.

How did you react after the event?

I was sad and angry!

Did your life and spirit change?

I wanted to do what my grandmother does, helping the firefighters and police who lost their wives and dads.

How do you see the future after this event?

I'm going to be a police officer.

What represents the September 11th event for you?

There is so much. Really the only thing I can think of when I think of this event is not only our flag, risen through the rubble, but how we, as the United States of America, bounced back against the terrorist attacks.

How did you react after the event?

My family went to church a lot more; we prayed for the victims and their families, to give George Bush wisdom to lead our great country through these dark times, and for all those who were in the planes, how they felt as they knew, seconds before their death, that it was all over......

Did your life and spirit change?

Yes. I believe that no one went unchanged by this tragic event, if not subtly.

How do you see the future after this event?

I think that although these terrorists took away the heart and soul of New York, it made us stronger and smarter as a whole in our country. America is, in it's small way, a better place.

What represents the September 11th event for you?

It represents the day the world changed. I realised just how many sick minded people there are in the world!

How did you react after the event?

I am still sicken and scared of the thought of what another human being could possibly do to another.

Did your life and spirit change?

I realised that any thing can happen I try not to take my life for granted and pray for all the victims and families that were affected.

How do you see the future after this event?

We will try our best to overcome terrorism, but i doubt we will let our minds at rest with the fear of what will happen next?

September 11th represents for me a day of disaster where we saw racisms
as violent with Hitler or Staline.

After this event, I reacted with hatred against these criminals and respect for the heroes of this day.

Did your life and spirit change?

Yes, my hatred toward terrorists increased, however, I did not become racist.
