John,

Last year I sent you some info regarding my daughter, Jennifer Lynn Kane, so that you would know a little about one of the victims you have honored in the Flag of Honor. Since we received the Flag as a gift fm you, we have purchased more so that our sons and family would have one as a remembrance of Jen and all of the other victims on Sep 11th. Your project is greatly appreciated by everyone.

We held the second Jennifer Kane Memorial Golf Tournament last August and made enough funds to now have two endowed scholarships, in Jen's name, at Villanova Univ. We also fulfilled two wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and raised funds to construct a concession stand for Plymouth Girls Softball. The support has been overwhelming.

In one of your previous e-mails you asked for any pictures of where the Flag of Honor may be hung. We donated the Flag of Honor to the Town of Plymouth.
The Chairman of the Plymouth Board of Selectman (Ken Tavares) led the way to obtain approval to have the Flag mounted and displayed in the Plymouth Town Hall. The Flag was matted professionally, a display case was built and hung by the Town carpenter and the plaque was engraved by Plymouth Trophy and Award.
The dedication took place on July 8, 2003. This will ALWAYS be displayed in the Plymouth Town Hall - even if they move to another building.
The attachments are pictures of the Flag of Honor permanently displayed and the plaque donating the Flag.

We will be holding a third golf tournament on Mon, Aug 23rd, at the Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, MA. They have a great facility and the dinner will be about 5PM. There will also be lots of high end auction, silent auction and raffle items. If you would like to spend an afternoon and evening let me know and I'll send more details. 100% of all proceeds this year will go to the Fallen Heroes Fund (Fund disburses $10K to spouse and children of U. S. soldiers killed in Iraq or Afghanistan), Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Plymouth Sep 11th Memorial Site.

So long for now and thanks again for your efforts with the Flag of Honor.

George
